Kerry Dawson, Education and Outreach Coordinator at Comox Valley Conservation Strategy will be speaking about the Conservation Strategy and answering your quesitons.

Kerry has a B.Sc. in Ecology and Evolution (UWO), a Masters in Resource and Environmental Management (SFU) and a B.Ed. in Environmental Education (SFU). She has worked as a Park Naturalist, a snowshoe guide, a grizzly bear guide, a high school teacher in both China and Guatemala, the Lower Mainland Projects Coordinator for Land for Nature, a Forestry Campaigner with the Western Canada Wilderness Committee, and the Bear Aware Coordinator for northern Vancouver Island.  She currently works as the Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Comox Valley Conservation Strategy as she well tutors math and science and publishes photographs of the beautiful valley we all call home!
